Unna Organic Infant Formula Stage 1 is given as a replacement for or supplement to breast milk from the first week of life on the recommendation of a BVC or pediatrician. Unna Stage 1 is an infant formula based on organic milk that is prepared according to the instructions on the package and covers the nutritional needs of your baby up to 6 months. A BVC or pediatrician should always be consulted before using infant formula. For your child's health, it is important to carefully follow the preparation and storage instructions on the package.

Unna is the first organic infant formula from Sweden.

Unna's product packaging carries the EU organic leaf label, which shows that the products are certified according to the EU organic regulations. The EU's rules for organic production are based on a number of principles to protect the environment.

How to prepare Unna formula in 8 easy steps

Dosing is done with a tablespoon measure (1 tbsp = 6.5 g), and it's important that the measures are levelled.

Note: Unna's products do not include a dosing scoop, for environmental reasons.

Step 1

Wash your hands.

Step 2

Make sure the bottle, measure and saucepan are clean.

Step 3

Boil cold water. Let it cool to feeding temperature (lukewarm).

Step 4

Measure the water into the bottle.

Step 5

Add the correct amount of powder to the bottle. Remember the measures should be levelled.

Step 6

Close the bottle and shake/mix until the powder has dissolved.

Step 7

Check that the mixture isn't too hot by dripping a little on the inside of your wrist. Taste it yourself before giving it to your child. Feed your child in your arms.

Step 8

Serve the formula, follow-on formula or toddler milk freshly prepared. Any leftovers should not be saved.

Did you know?

The raw materials used in baby food are considerably purer than those you find in the store. Baby food is governed by much stricter rules than other food, with extra low limits for heavy metals, mould toxins, pesticides and other unwanted residues.
