Do you want a breakfast or snack that tastes like a bun but is full of nutrients and completely sugar-free? Then you have to try these super simple and delicious saffron flatbreads! They are an easy way to get both energy and iron into your everyday life. Naturally sweetened, soft in texture and filling - perfect as finger food for babies from 6 months.

Ingredients:
(for approx. 10 pancakes)
- 1 organic banana
- 2 organic eggs
- 0.5 packet saffron
- 0.5 dl Unna organic gruel & porridge (both 6 months and 12 months work equally well)
- Organic coconut oil or butter for frying
Do this:
- First mix the banana with the eggs using a hand blender or blender.
- Add porridge powder and saffron (or other seasoning) and mix until smooth.
- Heat a frying pan and then reduce to medium heat.
- Fry small patties (approx. a heaped tablespoon) over medium heat in butter/coconut oil, approx. 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve just as they are or with pomegranate seeds (crushed if baby is under 12 months) and a dollop of Turkish yogurt for a more festive feel.
