Recipe for Unna porridge muffins

Ingredients

(about 8-10 muffins)

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 3 dl Unna gruel & porridge powder (choose the variant that suits your child's age)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter
  • Optional flavoring. In the example we have used 1 pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of honey (not for children under 1 year old) and 1 tsp of real vanilla powder. Other options can be cinnamon or 1 dl of berries of your choice.

Do this:

  • Set the oven to 175°C.
  • Mash the bananas and mix with the eggs and then the gruel & porridge powder and baking powder.
  • Add any seasoning.
  • Fill muffin tins and bake in the middle of the oven for 15-25 minutes. Check with a skewer when they are done (the skewer should come out dry).

Tip! The muffins are great to freeze and thaw as needed.

Simple, delicious and nutritious snack on the go!
